New Kawasaki Eliminator 450 cruiser bike will be launched by March next year

Bike maker Kawasaki is working on its new bike for Indian Market. As per the reports company will launch its new Kawasaki Eliminator 450 cruiser bike between February-March next year.

There was a possibility that this bike could be launched at the recently concluded India Bike Week event in Goa. Instead the company launched the new W175 Street, which has become major attraction for a bike lovers.

The new Kawasaki Eliminator 450 is being considered as a suitable alternative to the Vulcan S (235 kg), which is lighter in weight (176 kg). It will compete with Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650.

We expect that the price of this cruiser bike will be around Rs 5.6 lakh (ex-showroom). It will be positioned above the Kawasaki Ninja 400 in company’s lineup.

Kawasaki Eliminator 450: Expected Features

The Kawasaki Eliminator 450 will get a 451cc, parallel-twin engine, which is basically a long-stroke version of the existing Ninja 400’s 399cc engine. This engine generates 45.4ps of power at 9,000rpm and 42.6Nm of torque at 6,000rpm. For transmission, it will be mated to a 6-speed gearbox.

We are expecting that the top speed of this crusier bike will be around 220 km/hr and it will give mileage of around 25-30 kilometer in 1 liter petrol.

The Kawasaki Eliminator 450 is built on a steel trellis frame. Many new features like LED lighting, ABS and mobile connectivity will be available in it.

The bike also gets a 32mm larger throttle body along with a larger 5.8-litre airbox compared to the Ninja 400. It will feature 18-16-inch wheels and disc brakes at both ends with dual-channel ABS for braking. The will be equipped with the telescopic forks at the front and dual-springs at the rear for suspension.
