Kia Motors has announced attractive discounts on its entire range of models following the implementation of GST 2.0. According to media reports, the price of the company’s cars will increase by Rs 4.48 lakh.
This new pricing will take effect nationwide on September 22, 2025, coinciding with the new GST rate. The Government of India has reduced the GST on small cars and two-wheelers from 28% to 18%.
Previously, all cars categorized as “small cars” and two-wheelers with engine capacities of up to 350cc were subject to the higher 28% GST, making them more expensive for budget-conscious consumers.
While small cars and motorcycles will see a decrease in prices, larger vehicles including mid-size SUVs, premium sedans, and luxury cars will fall under a new 40% GST slab. Consequently, these larger vehicles may become more expensive.
Model vise discount on Kia Motors
Following the implementation of GST 2.0, the prices of various Kia models will be reduced as follows:
– The Kia Sonet will become cheaper by Rs 1,64,471.
– The Kia Seltos will see a reduction of Rs 75,372.
– The Kia Syros will be available at a discount of Rs 1,86,003.
– The Kia Carens will have a discount of Rs 48,513.
– The Kia Carens Clavis will be discounted by Rs 78,674.
– Finally, the Kia Carnival will be available at a discounted rate of Rs 4,48,542.
These price reductions make these models more affordable for potential buyers.
