Yamaha has announced a Rs 5,000 price reduction on its popular Yamaha R15 motorcycle range in India as part of its 70th anniversary celebrations. The revised prices are aimed at making the sporty R15 lineup more attractive for young riders and first-time buyers. The offer is now live across dealerships.
After the price cut, the Yamaha R15 S is priced at Rs 1.50 lakh, the R15 V4 starts at Rs 1.66 lakh, while the top-end R15 M now costs around Rs 1.81 lakh (all prices ex-showroom). There are no mechanical changes to the motorcycle.

Talking about features Yamaha R15 is one of the budget friendly sports bike available for the sale in the Indian market. It comes equipped with a 155cc, liquid-cooled engine that offers a good balance of performance and fuel efficiency. It also comes with features like traction control, slipper clutch, quick-shifter on select variants, and a strong Deltabox frame.
With this price cut, the Yamaha R15 becomes more competitive against rivals such as the KTM RC series, Suzuki Gixxer SF, Honda CBR150R, and TVS Apache RR 310, strengthening its position in the entry-level sports bike segment.
