The growing popularity of electric cars has pushed automakers to step up their game with more advanced and feature-rich models.
The year 2025 was no exception to this trend. Leading manufacturers such as Tata Motors, Hyundai Motor India, and Mahindra & Mahindra introduced a range of new electric vehicles aimed at Indian buyers.
With impressive driving range, modern technology, and premium features, these EVs managed to grab significant attention in the market.

Hyundai Creta Electric: Price Rs 18.02 Lakh
Hyundai showcased the Creta Electric at the Global Expo 2025, and while its overall design closely resembles the Creta facelift, it stands out with a pixelated front grille, new colour options, and a fresh three-spoke steering wheel inside the cabin.
The electric SUV is offered with two battery pack options 42 kWh and 51.4 kWh, delivering a claimed range of 420 km and 510 km, respectively. In terms of performance, the Creta Electric can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.9 seconds and has a top speed of 180 km/h.
Prices for the Hyundai Creta Electric range from Rs 18.02 lakh to Rs 24.69 lakh (ex-showroom).

Tata Harrier EV: Price Rs 21.49 Lakh
Launched in June last year, the Tata Harrier EV carries forward a design similar to its ICE counterpart, maintaining a bold and familiar road presence.
Inside, it comes loaded with premium features such as a 14.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster, a panoramic sunroof, powered and ventilated front seats, and a 10-speaker JBL sound system.
Powering the Harrier EV are two battery options—a 65 kWh pack offering up to 538 km of range and a larger 75 kWh battery delivering up to 627 km on a single charge. It is available with both rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive configurations.
Prices range between Rs 21.49 lakh and Rs 30.23 lakh (ex-showroom).

MG Windsor Pro: Price Rs 9.99 Lakh
JSW MG Motor launched the Windsor Pro as an upgraded variant in May last year, positioning it as a more feature-rich and tech-focused electric car with improved driving range.
The highlight of the Windsor Pro is its Level-2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), which includes features such as Traffic Jam Assist, Forward Collision Warning, and Adaptive Cruise Control. Under the hood, it is powered by a 52.9 kWh battery pack, delivering a claimed range of up to 449 km on a single charge.
With the battery subscription model, the MG Windsor Pro is priced from Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom), making it one of the most affordable EVs in its segment.

Kia Carens Clavis EV: Price Rs 17.99 Lakh
Kia Motors has introduced the Carens Clavis EV as a premium electric MPV, retaining a design that closely resembles its ICE counterpart while adding subtle EV-specific elements.
On the features front, it offers dual 12.3-inch digital screens, an auto-dimming IRVM, an air purifier with AQI display, an 8-speaker Bose sound system, Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) technology, and Level-2 ADAS for enhanced safety.
The electric MPV is available with two battery options—42 kWh and 51.4 kWh, delivering a claimed driving range of up to 490 km.
Prices for the Kia Carens Clavis EV start at Rs 17.99 lakh and go up to Rs 24.49 lakh (ex-showroom).
