2026 Tata Punch Facelift Launched in a New Avatar

Tata Motors has launched the 2026 Tata Punch Facelift with an updated design and improved features. The refreshed model brings a more modern look along with added comfort and safety upgrades, making it more appealing to buyers.

Since its first launch in 2021, this is the first major facelift for the Tata Punch. The biggest update is the introduction of a more powerful turbo-petrol engine option.

The Punch Facelift is available in six variantsSmart, Pure, Pure Plus, Adventure, Accomplished and Accomplished Plus.

Features of Tata Punch Facelift

The design of the Tata Punch Facelift is inspired by the Punch EV and the updated Altroz. It features sleek LED DRLs, a black grille, and heavy black cladding on the bumper with an integrated air intake and silver skid plate, giving it a tough and muscular look.

The headlamps have been upgraded to LED units, now placed in sharper and more angular housings. It also gets 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, and connected LED tail-lamps.

Talking about the colour options the all new Punch Facelift is offered in Scientific, Bengal Rouge, Daytona Grey, Coorg Cloud, Caramel and Pristine White.

The facelifted model adds several new features such as a voice-assisted electric sunroof, wireless charger, automatic headlamps, rain-sensing wipers and connected car technology.

It also comes equipped with a 360-degree camera system and hill descent control. Other highlights include automatic climate control, cruise control, a 6-speaker audio system, and keyless entry with push-button start.

On the safety front, the SUV gets six airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, a rear parking camera and TPMS, and has earned a 5-star rating in Bharat NCAP.

Powertrain and Price of Tata Punch Facelift

Tata Punch Facelift continues with the 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine, which is also offered with a CNG option. This engine is now available with a 5-speed manual gearbox as well as an AMT transmission.

In addition, Tata has introduced a more powerful 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine, producing 120bhp and 170Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed manual transmission.

Talking about the price the facelifted Punch is priced between Rs 5.59 lakh and Rs 9.29 lakh (ex-showroom), making it a strong contender in the compact SUV segment.
