The Toyota Hilux GX 4×2 Automatic is priced at Rs. 31.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and comes equipped with a strong list of safety and convenience features. Safety is a key highlight, with seven airbags, ABS (Anti-lock Braking System), an Electronic Stability Programme (ESP) and rear fog lamps for enhanced protection in different driving conditions. It also gets a day/night inside rear-view mirror (IRVM) to reduce glare from vehicles behind during night driving.

On the outside, the GX variant features matte-finish outside rear-view mirrors (ORVMs) and a pole antenna, giving it a clean and functional appearance. Inside the cabin, buyers get an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system paired with four speakers for entertainment. The system also supports wired smartphone mirroring, allowing users to access compatible apps directly from their phone.

For an additional Rs. 1.70 lakh, buyers get Toyota’s advanced 4WD system with high-range (4H) and low-range (4L) transfer modes, allowing the pickup to tackle rough terrain, steep inclines and challenging road conditions with greater confidence.

The package also includes a rear differential lock, which improves traction by distributing power more effectively to the wheels when driving on slippery or uneven surfaces. This makes the GX 4×4 AT an ideal choice for buyers who frequently venture off-road or require a more capable pickup for demanding work and adventure.

Toyota Hilux VX 4×4 AT: Features and Price

The Toyota Hilux VX 4×4 Automatic sits at the top of the lineup and is priced at Rs. 36.69 lakh (ex-showroom). In addition to all the features offered in the GX 4×4 AT, the VX variant brings several premium comfort, technology and safety upgrades. It comes equipped with front-row seat belt pretensioners, a 360-degree camera, Downhill Assist Control and a Terrain Select system, making it even more capable during off-road adventures.

On the outside, the VX trim gets full LED headlamps with LED turn indicators, electrically adjustable power mirrors and a shark-fin antenna, giving the pickup a more premium appearance.

Inside, the cabin receives a premium dashboard design, illuminated scuff plates and a larger 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system paired with an eight-speaker audio system for a richer in-car experience.

The top-spec Hilux also offers several convenience features, including automatic climate control, a wireless smartphone charger, push-button start/stop, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, and a PM 2.5 cabin air filter that helps improve air quality inside the vehicle.
