2026 Bajaj Pulsar 150 Launched in India: Price, Design, Engine, Features and Rivals

Bajaj Auto has launched the new-generation 2026 Bajaj Pulsar 150 in India, giving its long-running 150cc motorcycle a comprehensive update. The new Pulsar 150 starts at Rs 1.15 lakh (ex-showroom) and now gets changes to its design, engine, frame, suspension and technology.

Bajaj has retained the familiar Pulsar identity but has added several features to make the motorcycle more competitive in the modern 150cc segment. The new model is available in Single Disc and Twin Disc variants, with the top version getting additional equipment and technology.

2026 Bajaj Pulsar 150: What’s New?

The new Pulsar 150 retains its familiar muscular silhouette but receives sharper styling. Bajaj has redesigned the front section, LED headlamp, DRLs, fuel tank and tank extensions. The rear section also gets updated styling and a revised tail-lamp design. The motorcycle now uses an all-LED lighting setup, while the overall design continues to carry the unmistakable Pulsar character.

Bajaj has replaced the older motor with an all-new 150cc engine. It produces 14 PS at 8,500rpm and 14.1Nm of torque, with the torque figure increasing over the previous model. The engine works with a 5-speed gearbox and gets three riding modes: Rain, Road and Sport. The higher variant also gets an Integrated Starter Generator for quieter starts.

The Pulsar 150 gets a major technology upgrade. The base version uses a colour LCD instrument console, while the higher variant gets a 5-inch TFT display. Both support smartphone connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation and call/SMS alerts. The TFT-equipped version also adds music controls. Other highlights include USB Type-C charging and hazard lights.

Bajaj has developed a new frame for the motorcycle and replaced the earlier twin rear shocks with a monoshock setup. The front continues with telescopic forks.

This mechanical change should give the new Pulsar 150 a more modern chassis setup while improving its handling and ride quality.

2026 Bajaj Pulsar 150: Price and Rivals

The 2026 Bajaj Pulsar 150 starts at Rs 1.15 lakh, while the Twin Disc variants cost around Rs 1.22 lakh and Rs 1.23 lakh, depending on the seat configuration. The motorcycle competes with the Honda Unicorn, TVS Apache RTR 160 2V, Hero Xtreme 160R and Yamaha FZ-S Fi.
