What’s New in 2026 Bajaj Pulsar 125?

Bajaj has given the 2026 Bajaj Pulsar 125 a noticeable design update while keeping the motorcycle’s familiar Pulsar identity. The overall silhouette remains recognisable, but the new model gets a reworked front section, updated LED headlamp and a redesigned tail section.

The new tail-lamp design gives the rear a fresher look, while the updated bodywork makes the motorcycle appear more modern. Bajaj has also revised the engine area and exhaust routing, which changes the bike’s side profile. The new model now uses a monoshock rear suspension, replacing the earlier twin-shock setup.

Bajaj has introduced a new 125cc engine for the 2026 Pulsar 125, producing 11.7hp.

The biggest mechanical change comes under the skin. Bajaj has introduced a new 125cc engine for the 2026 Pulsar 125, producing 11.7hp. The company has also worked on low-rpm torque delivery and gearbox calibration to make the motorcycle easier to ride in everyday traffic.

Bajaj says around 85% of the available torque arrives from 3,000rpm onwards, which should help reduce the need for frequent gear changes.

Another noticeable change is the new exhaust system. Bajaj has redesigned the exhaust header routing and introduced a different exhaust unit compared with the outgoing Pulsar 125. The change not only gives the motorcycle a fresh visual appearance but also forms part of the broader mechanical update.

Price and Rivals of 2026 Bajaj Pulsar 125

Bajaj Auto has priced the 2026 Bajaj Pulsar 125 from Rs 92,990 (ex-showroom), while the higher variants cost up to around Rs 1.04 lakh. At this price, the motorcycle enters one of the most competitive 125cc segments in India.

Its main rivals include the TVS Raider 125, Hero Xtreme 125R and Honda SP125, while the Bajaj Pulsar NS125 also sits close to it in terms of positioning and price. With its sporty character, the new Pulsar 125 aims to stand apart from more conventional commuter motorcycles.
