Luxury car maker Porsche has finally launched its all new Porsche Macan EV in turbo variant in Indian Market at starting price of Rs. 1.65 crore. Currently this car is available in electric variant but as per the reports company will soon introduced petrol and diesel of Macan car in India.
Company has also starts accepting booking for the Macan EV and its deliveries will be starts later this year.
Porsche Macan EV: Dimension and Design
The all new Porsche Macan EV is based on Premium Platform Electric (PPE) same as Audi Q6 E-tron. Both these cars share their chassis, batteries and electronics.
The design of this EV model is very much similar to the current generation Macan available for sales in India. It has a rectangular headlights and LED rear light bar.
Porsche Macan EV: Powertrain
The Porsche Macan EV is available in two power-train options. In Macan 4 it generates 408 hp power and 650 Nm max torque.With this Powertrain car can cover 0-100 km/h in 5.2 s and gain top Speed of 220 km/h.
On the other hand in turbo variant it it generates 639 hp power and 1130 Nm max torque.With this Powertrain car can cover 0-100 km/h in 5.2 s and gain top Speed of 220 km/h.
This car has 95 kWh battery and has 800 V DC charger which can charge the car from 10 percent to 80 percent in just 21 minutes. The official range of Macan 4 is 613 km per charge and Macan Turbo is 591 km per charge
Porsche Macan EV: Cabin and Features
Some element of cabin of Porsche Macan EV is copied form the company’s Cayenne EV. The Macan EV has three digital displays: curved display of 12.6-inch for instrument cluster, 10.9-inch infotainment touchscreen and 10.9-inch touchscreen for passenger.
The Macan EV has a steel suspension with twin valve dampers.
