Xiaomi SU7 unveils with face recognition unlocking technology, company’s first electric car


Smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi has finally enters in the electric car buisness and unveiled its first electric car Xiaomi SU7 in the global market. Here SU stands for ‘Speed Ultra’. Company will soon announce its price. In market Xiaomi SU7 electric sedans will rivals against the Porsche Taycan and Tesla Model S.

This electric car is drag coefficient, which means the vehicle’s aerodynamic efficiency, enabling it to achieve a range of up to 1,000 kilometres.

The all new SU7 electric sedan can accelarate from 0-100kmph in just 2.78 seconds.

Speaking about the SU7 Xiaomi Chief Executive Lei Jun says, “By working hard over next 15 to 20 years, we will become one of the world’s top automakers, striving to lift china’s overall automobile ndustry.”

Xiaomi SU7: Design

Xiaomi SU7 has an aggressive design language

Xiaomi SU7 has an aggressive design language. From the front this car looks very similar to the Mclaren supercar 750s. It has a slender wraparound taillights with LED light bar. The top model of this car has a active rear wing and lidar sensors,

The All new Xiaomi SU7 has a 19-inch front and 20-inch rear alloy wheels whuch adds more sporty stance to the car. Talking about the dimenssion SU7 is 4997mm long, 1963mm wide and 1455mm height, also the wheelbase of this car is around 3000mm.

Xiaomi has placed camera on the B pillar for this car and we are expecting that SU7 will come with face recognition unlocking technology. the curb weight of this beauty is around 1980kilograms. This car has a 517 liter boot space.

There is two powertrain options in the Xiaomi SU7 electric sedan

Xiaomi SU7: Range and Performance

There is two powertrain options in the Xiaomi SU7 electric sedan. First, it has a Rear Wheel Drive with 220 kW motor and All Wheel Drive with 495kW. This setup can generates maximum power of around 435 kW and 838 Nm torque.

SU7 is capable of achieving speed of 100km/hr in just 2.78 second. This EV can do 0-200kmph in 10.67 second. The top speed of SU7 electric car is 265km/hr. Xiaomi SU7 will be available in two trims SU7, and SU7 Max.

The Ev has 875V charging and 101 kWh battery pack. SU7 car can give range of 800 kilometer in full charge. In just 10 minutes of charge this ev can give range of 390 km.

Xiaomi SU7: Cabin

There is no Visible button in the cabin of the SU7 electric car. This car has a 4-seater seating configuration.

The cabin in the Xiaomi SU7 gets a 16.1-inch 3K touchscreen on a multi-layer dashboard and a panoramic glass roof. The car has ‘HyperOS’ operating system, which takes 1.49 seconds to boot after opening the door.

It features a slim and fully-digital instrument display, a head-up display and 2 touchscreens for rear seat passengers. Apart from this, the latest car gets heated and ventilated seats with Nappa leather, 50W wireless phone charger.

Xiaomi SU7: Advance Features

Xiaomi SU7 electric sedan has a advance driving assistange technology which provides highways driving assists, self driving and car summoning. It is equipped with 1 lidar, 3 radars, 11 HD camera and 12 Ultra sonic sensors.

SU7 will feature the all new HyperOS, Xiaomi’s own operating system that aims to give a unique experiance to the customers.

Xiaomi SU7: Price and Availability

The price and availability of Xiaomi SU7 electric sedan car will be announce at the time of its launch. We are expecting that the price of this high performance car will be around 20,00,000 to 30,00,000 yuan (around 25-35 lakhs indian rupees). This car will be availble in three color options Aqua Blue, Mineral Grey and Verdant Green. Company can launch SU7 car in March, 2024.
