Mahindra Vision S Interiors and Exteriors Spied Before Launch
Mahindra Automotive continues testing the production-ready Mahindra Vision S sub-4m SUV on Indian roads. Fresh spy shots reveal both the exterior design and interior layout of the vehicle in clear detail.
The new model builds directly on the Vision S concept displayed in 2025. Mahindra aims to capture the competitive compact SUV segment with this rugged, lifestyle-oriented product.
What Are We Expecting From?
The spy images show an upright and boxy silhouette with a tall bonnet. Up front, the test mule features vertical grille elements and temporary round headlights. Prototype models previously displayed inverted L-shaped LED headlight signatures.
Along the sides, the SUV gets flush door handles, a large glass area, and wide alloy wheels. The rear section stands out with a tailgate-mounted spare wheel. This layout gives the vehicle a classic off-roader look.
Interior Layout and Features
Inside the cabin, the latest spy photos reveal two horizontal digital screens on the dashboard. Vertical air conditioning vents separate these twin 10.25-inch displays. The test vehicle uses a temporary steering wheel, but the final version will feature a dedicated design.
The center console displays a gear selector, an electronic parking brake, cup holders, and an engine start-stop button. Buyers can also expect a wireless charging pad and updated climate controls in the production trim.
Platform, Engines, and Launch
Mahindra develops the Vision S on its modular NU_IQ multi-energy platform. This monocoque chassis supports petrol, diesel, hybrid, and electric powertrains. The company will likely pair petrol and diesel engines with manual and automatic gearboxes at launch. Industry sources expect Mahindra to launch the production model around 2027.
