Skoda Auto India has launched the updated Skoda Slavia Facelift in India with a starting price of Rs. 9.99 lakh, ex-showroom. This marks the first major update for the sedan since its launch in 2022. The facelift brings subtle exterior changes, new cabin features and an important powertrain update.
Skoda has also introduced a new 8-speed automatic gearbox with the 1.0-litre TSI engine. The 1.5-litre TSI continues with the 7-speed DSG automatic. The updated Slavia also gets a 360-degree camera, larger digital displays and a segment-first rear-seat massage function.
Skoda Slavia Facelift: What’s New in Design and Exterior?
The Slavia facelift keeps the same overall sedan silhouette but gets several styling changes. The front now features redesigned LED headlamps with segmented daytime running lights and a revised grille with a horizontal chrome strip. Skoda has also updated the front bumper and added new LED fog lamps with cornering function.
The side profile remains largely familiar, but the sedan gets new 16-inch alloy wheel designs. At the rear, revised LED tail-lamps now feature sequential turn indicators. The boot also gets updated Skoda branding and a revised bumper with a chrome strip. Skoda has added Arctic Silver and Cappuccino Beige to the colour range.

Skoda Slavia Facelift: What’s New in the Powertrain?
The Slavia facelift continues with the same two turbo-petrol engines. The 1.0-litre three-cylinder TSI produces 115 PS and 178 Nm and comes with a 6-speed manual gearbox. However, Skoda has replaced the earlier 6-speed automatic with a new 8-speed torque-converter automatic. This is one of the biggest mechanical changes on the updated sedan.
The 1.5-litre four-cylinder TSI continues to produce 150 PS and 250 Nm. It comes with a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox. Skoda has also added rear disc brakes to the 1.5-litre variants. The facelift retains the MQB-A0-IN platform and continues with turbo-petrol powertrains only.
Skoda Slavia Facelift: What’s New in the Cabin?
The cabin retains the familiar dashboard layout but gets several technology and comfort upgrades. The biggest change comes with the new 10.25-inch digital driver display and an updated 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The system supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay along with integrated Google Assistant.
Skoda has also added a 360-degree Area View camera and front parking sensors. Another major addition is the segment-first rear-seat massage function. Other features include a wireless phone charger, single-pane sunroof, automatic climate control and cruise control. The standard version continues with a black-and-beige cabin, while the Monte Carlo gets an all-black theme with red accents.
