Hero MotoCorp October 2026 Sales Rise 16%, Scooter Sales Jump 61%
Hero MotoCorp recorded strong sales growth in October 2026, with total motorcycle and scooter dispatches reaching 7,34,403 units. The company dispatched 6,35,808 units in October 2025, resulting in 15.51% year-on-year growth.
Domestic dispatches remained the main contributor, while scooter volumes crossed the one-lakh mark for the first time in this comparison. Hero also recorded 30,143 VIDA electric two-wheeler dispatches during the month.
However, total dispatches declined compared with September 2026, when the company shipped 7,66,348 units. Hero’s October performance also came during the festive season, which supported demand across its motorcycle and scooter portfolio.
Hero MotoCorp Sales Grow 15.5% YoY
Hero MotoCorp dispatched 7,34,403 motorcycles and scooters in October 2026, compared with 6,35,808 units in the same month last year. The company increased its monthly volume by 98,595 units and recorded 15.51% YoY growth.
Domestic dispatches rose 16.58% to 7,05,084 units from 6,04,829 units. Motorcycles accounted for 6,29,800 units, up 10.35% from 5,70,753 units. Scooters delivered stronger growth, with dispatches rising 60.79% to 1,04,603 units from 65,055 units.
Hero’s domestic ICE business also grew around 14%, supported mainly by scooters and 100cc motorcycles.
Hero MotoCorp Sales Decline 4.17% MoM
Hero MotoCorp recorded 7,66,348 total two-wheeler dispatches in September 2026. The October figure of 7,34,403 units therefore represents a 4.17% month-on-month decline. Domestic dispatches fell 4.59% from 7,39,018 units in September to 7,05,084 units in October.
Motorcycle dispatches declined 5.43% during the same period. However, scooter volumes moved higher, rising 4.23% from September. VIDA also recorded sequential growth, with October dispatches reaching 30,143 units compared with 28,798 units in September.
Despite the monthly decline, Hero maintained strong year-on-year growth during the festive month.

Hero MotoCorp Exports Decline 5.36%
Hero MotoCorp exported 29,319 two-wheelers in October 2026, compared with 30,979 units in October 2025. This resulted in a 5.36% year-on-year decline. However, exports improved 7.28% from September 2026, when Hero shipped 27,330 units overseas. The company highlighted retail momentum in markets including Colombia and Bangladesh.
