Harley-Davidson has officially pulled the plug on the Harley-Davidson Fat Bob 114 in India as part of its 2025 model year update.
The bold, performance-oriented cruiser has been replaced by the Street Bob 114, signaling a strategic shift in Harley’s Indian lineup to focus on more accessible and rider-friendly models.

Why Was the Harley-Davidson Fat Bob Discontinued?
As per the media reports Harley Davidson Fat Bob struggled to gain mainstream traction in India. Its aggressive styling, chunky proportions, and premium price tag limited its appeal in a market where cruisers remain a niche luxury.
Harley’s decision to discontinue the model aligns with its broader strategy to streamline offerings and prioritize models with higher demand and urban usability.
Harley-Davidson Fat Bob: Key Features and Pricing
Harley-Davidson Fat Bob has been equipped with horizontal LED headlamp, twin-pod exhausts, and chopped fenders gave it a post-apocalyptic, street-fighter vibe that set it apart from traditional cruisers.
This bike has been equipped with 1,868cc Milwaukee-Eight 114 V-Twin engine. This engine generates maximum power of 93 bhp and a peak torque of 155 Nm. For transmission this engine has been equipped with 6-speed manual gearbox. This bike car easily gives mileage of 18 km/l.
It also has 43mm USD forks for the front and monoshock unite at the rear, Dual front discs with ABS, 16-inch alloys with fat tyres, 13.2 litres of fuel tank.
The Harley-Davidson Fat Bob was priced at ₹21.49 lakh (ex-showroom), placing it in the premium cruiser segment alongside rivals like the Triumph Rocket 3, Indian Chief Bobber, and BMW R18.
What’s Next: Street Bob 114 Takes the Baton
Replacing the Fat Bob is the Street Bob 114, a lighter, more minimalist Softail cruiser powered by the Milwaukee-Eight 117 engine. With its mini-ape handlebars, bobber styling, and lower kerb weight, the Street Bob is expected to offer a more approachable Harley experience for Indian riders. For enthusiasts, the Fat Bob’s exit marks the end of an era, but the Street Bob’s return could usher in a new wave of Harley loyalists.
