Luxury car company BMW has launched its all new BMW M2 CS in the Indian Market. This high-performance luxury car has been launched at the starting price of Rs 1.66 crore ex-showroom.
This is the brand’s second CS-badged model in India after the M4 CS. It will be sold as a CBU and is based on the second-generation M2, but with major upgrades in power and reduced weight. Additionally, the car features improved suspension and chassis, making it more capable and better suited for track performance.

BMW M2 CS: Design
The BMW M2 CS stands out with an aggressive yet purposeful design that clearly reflects its track-focused character. It features several exclusive updates, including an M Carbon roof, carbon fibre boot lid, mirror caps, and a CS-specific rear diffuser, all of which help reduce weight while enhancing performance.
At the front, the signature BMW kidney grille remains a key highlight, paired with sharp lines and a wide stance for a commanding road presence. Moving to the rear, the integrated “ducktail” spoiler not only adds a sporty touch but is also aerodynamically optimized for better stability and weight distribution.
Completing the look are CS-exclusive forged M light-alloy wheels in a double-spoke design with a distinctive matte Gold Bronze finish. The setup includes 19-inch wheels at the front and larger 20-inch wheels at the rear, wrapped in track-focused tyres for maximum grip.

BMW M2 CS: Powertrain
BMW M2 CS is powered by a highly tuned 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged inline-six petrol engine that delivers around 523 hp and 650 Nm of torque, making it the most powerful M2 ever produced. This engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and a rear-wheel-drive setup, ensuring a pure and engaging driving experience.
M2 CS capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just around 3.7–3.8 seconds. It also offers an impressive top speed of up to 302 km/h (electronically limited), showcasing its strong track-focused capabilities and high-speed stability.
BMW M2 CS: Cabin
The cabin of the BMW M2 CS perfectly blends luxury with a strong focus on weight reduction and performance. It features premium Alcantara accents across multiple areas, giving the interior a sporty yet refined feel. The highlight is the lightweight M Carbon bucket seats, finished in Merino leather and detailed with illuminated CS-specific branding, enhancing both comfort and exclusivity.
To further reduce weight, BMW has equipped the car with a carbon fibre centre console, reinforcing its track-oriented approach. Unique touches like M seatbelts and black entry door sill plates with a red-outlined “M2 CS” logo add to its distinctive identity. The door panels also stand out with illuminated “CS” branding, while customizable ambient lighting allows drivers to tailor the cabin atmosphere to their preference.
