Hero MotoCorp has released its sales figures for the year 2023. According to the sales report, the company has sold 54.99 lakh two-wheelers between January and December last year. This figure was 52.47 lakh during the same period of 2022, which shows growth of 5 percent on an annual basis.
However, total sales (domestic and exports) in month has declined on YoY. In december 2023 company has sold 3.93 lakh units which is slightly less than the sales figure 3.94 lakh units of December 2022.
Hero MotoCorp Last month sales
If we look at the sales of the Hero MotoCorp in the domestic market last month, it was 3.77 lakh, which was 3.81 lakh in the month of December 2022.
On the other hand, exports registered a growth of 25 percent YoY last month. In December 2023 nearly 16,110 bikes and scooters were sent abroad, whereas in December 2022 it was 12,814. Hero said it expects sales to grow in the fourth quarter with improvement in agriculture and the wedding season.
Hero sold 3.54 lakh motorcycles in December, whereas 3.56 lakh were sold in the same month a year ago. Similarly, scooter sales declined by 5 percent. 39,294 scooters have been sold last month. In comparison, 37,430 were sold in December, 2022.
Company had sold a total of 4.76 lakh two-wheelers in November. When compared with December, this shows a decline on a monthly basis.
