India’s largest motorcycle manufacturer, Hero MotoCorp, is set to launch its all-new Hero Vida Ubex electric bike in the Indian market. The company has recently teased the bike on its social media platforms ahead of its official release.
Reports indicate that Hero MotoCorp aims to unveil its first electric motorcycle at the EICMA 2025 event, scheduled for November 2025. Following the tremendous success of the Vida electric scooter, the company is now expanding into the electric bike segment.

Expected Features of the Hero Vida Ubex Electric Bike
The Hero Vida Ubex is the company’s new electric concept bike, designed to enter the naked sports segment and appeal to young customers.
This bike is equipped with a range of features, including LED lighting, LED taillights, daytime running lights (DRLs), a muscular fuel tank, and a single-piece seat for enhanced comfort during rides.
The bike will also offer several riding modes, along with alloy wheels and dual disc brakes on both tires for improved performance.
In terms of suspension, the Hero Vida Ubex will feature inverted front forks at the front and a mono-shock unit at the rear.
Powertrain of the Hero Vida Ubex Electric Bike
The performance of the Hero Vida Ubex electric bike is expected to be comparable to that of its internal combustion engine (ICE) bikes with a 200cc engine.
This upcoming electric bike will be powered by a robust electric motor and a lithium-ion battery pack with a capacity of approximately 7-9 kWh, providing a range of about 150-200 km per charge.
The bike will come equipped with both a DC fast charger and an AC charger, allowing for convenient charging at home in about 5-7 hours.
Its top speed is anticipated to be around 70-80 km/h, although this has not yet been officially confirmed.

Price and Availability of Hero Vida Ubex
The price and availability of the Hero Vida Ubex will be announced during its launch. Reports suggest that this bike is expected to enter the Indian market with a starting price of between Rs 1 lakh to Rs 1.5 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Hero Vida Ubex will compete with electric bikes like the Ultraviolette F77, Tork Kratos, and upcoming Ola electric motorcycles, all targeting performance-oriented riders seeking premium design, high range, and cutting-edge EV technology in India.
