One of the key highlights of Hyundai’s May 2025 performance is the continued dominance of its SUV portfolio, which contributed over 67% of the total domestic sales.

Popular models like the Hyundai Creta, Venue, and Alcazar remained best-sellers in their respective segments.

The all-new 2024 Creta facelift, launched earlier this year, continues to see strong customer interest, thanks to its refreshed design, ADAS features, and new powertrain options.

The Hyundai Exter, the brand’s entry-level micro SUV, also maintained solid momentum, especially in Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets.

Exports Hold Strong Amid Global Demand

Hyundai exported 14,400 units in May 2025, underlining its position as one of India’s top passenger vehicle exporters.

The company continues to serve over 85 countries from its production facility in Chennai, contributing significantly to India’s automobile exports.

Hyundai’s commitment to the “Make in India, Made for the World” strategy remains a core part of its export success.

The brand is now present in over 1,400 rural touchpoints, making it one of the most accessible premium mass-market automakers in the country.
