Two-wheeler manufacturer Harley- Davidson has launched its new Harley Davidson X440 bike in India. Harley has made this bike in association with Hero MotoCorp.
On the other hand British premium bike maker Triumph has also launched its new Triumph Speed 400 bike to compete with this bike.

Harley Davidson X440 looks more attractive
The Triumph Speed 400 is built on a hybrid spine/perimeter plateform. It gets LED headlights and taillights along with a muscular fuel tank. It gets USB charging port, semi-digital instrument cluster and 17-inch wheels with Metzeler Sportec tyres.
Other hand Harley Davidson X440 gets a neo-retro look. It gets a new tail section with muscular fuel tank, LED headlamps, round side mirrors, large handlebar, single-piece step-up seat, side-mounted double-barrel exhaust system and LED taillamps.

Keeping in mind the rider safety, the Harley-Davidson X440 and Triumph Speed 400 get disc brakes on both the wheels with dual-channel Anti-lock Braking System (ABS). The Speed 400 gets new features like traction control system and ride-by-wire throttle.
Speaking of suspension, the Speed 400 gets telescopic front forks. The X440, on the other hand, gets inverted front forks. Both the neo-retro bikes also get a preload-adjustable rear mono-shock unit.
Triumph Speed 400 gets more powerful engine
The Harley-Davidson X440 is powered by a 440cc single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine, which is capable of generating 27hp of maximum power and 38Nm of peak torque. For transmission, this engine has been given a 5-speed gearbox.
The Triumph Speed 400 is powered by a 398cc liquid-cooled DOHC engine from the TR-series. This engine is capable of generating 40hp power at 8000rpm and peak torque of 37.5Nm at 6500rpm. For transmission, it is paired with a 6-speed gearbox.

Harley-Davidson X440 price in India is Rs.2.29 Lakh. The Triumph Speed 400, on the other hand, has been priced at Rs 2.33 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom). However, it is priced at Rs 2.23 lakh for the first 10,000 customers.
The Harley-Davidson X440 is a solid offering from the company in India, but our vote goes to the Triumph Speed 400 due to the more powerful engine and better looks. This bike is a better option for you.
