Jeep India has officially launched its Jeep Meridian Trail Edition. It is a special variant of 7-seater Meridian SUV with premium features. Also, this model has been based on the Limited (O) trim.

The Trail Edition gets exclusive cosmetic upgrades like hood decals, black roof, and red accents, while retaining the proven diesel powertrain. Company has launched this SUV at starting price of Rs. 31.27 lakh (ex-showroom), it’s aimed at buyers who want a commanding road presence with a touch of trail-ready flair.

The Jeep Meridian Trail Edition features a signature hood decal, Trail Edition badging, and a high-gloss black roof that enhances its bold silhouette.

Also there is a neutral Grey accents on grille, headlamp surrounds, roof rails, badges, and side cladding. It also has a piano black finishes on fog lamp surrounds, ORVMs, and rear fascia add sophistication.

Apart from that there is a red highlights on the front fascia inject sporty contrast. While the dimensions remain unchanged, the visual upgrades give it a more assertive stance.

Rugged elements like Trail-themed scuff plates and skid plates reinforce its off-road persona. We can also see LED headlights, taillights and black-out grille.

Jeep Meridian Trail Edition retains the 2.0-litre Multijet II diesel engine. This engine produce maximum power of 170 hp and peak torque of 350 Nm. For transmission this engine has been mated with an option of 6-speed manual and a 9-speed automatic, with the latter offering 4×4 capability.

The drivetrain ensures confident highway cruising and off-road versatility. Mileage figures remain consistent with the standard Meridian—around 14–16 km/l, depending on the variant.

No mechanical changes are introduced, but the Trail Edition’s setup is ideal for both urban and adventurous drives.

Trail Edition of Meridian has a high-contrast black vinyl cabin with ruby red accents, camouflage-themed appliques, and a Piano Black centre console. Matching speaker surrounds and rugged floor mats add flair.

Its key features include a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, ventilated 8-way power adjustable front seats, dual-zone climate control, and a 9-speaker Alpine sound system.

For passengers safety it has six airbags, 360-degree camera, hill start assist, TPMS, and electronic parking brake with auto hold. It’s a cabin built for comfort, tech, and trail-readiness.

Price, Availability, and Rivals

The Meridian Trail Edition has been launched at the starting price of ₹31.27 lakh (manual), ₹35.27 lakh (automatic), and ₹37.27 lakh (4×4 AT). It will competes with the Toyota Fortuner, Skoda Kodiaq, and MG Gloster, offering a unique mix of rugged styling and premium features.
