Jio-bp Launches New Petrol That Can Give Up to 100 km Extra Mileage in a Year

Jio-bp has introduced a new type of petrol in India that claims to improve mileage and engine performance without increasing fuel cost. Launched at India Energy Week 2026 in Goa, this petrol comes with Engine-Cleaning ACTIVE Technology.

The company says regular use of this fuel can help vehicles run up to 100 km more in a year, depending on driving habits. The best part is that customers do not have to pay anything extra per litre.

This new petrol is designed for daily commuters who want better mileage, smoother performance, and lower maintenance over time.

What Is ACTIVE Technology Petrol?

ACTIVE Technology petrol is different from normal fuel. Instead of just preventing dirt buildup, it actively cleans existing carbon deposits from key engine parts. A cleaner engine helps restore lost performance and improves fuel efficiency as you drive.

How Does It Improve Mileage?

Over time, engines lose efficiency due to dirt and deposits. Jio-bp says its new petrol cleans these deposits, allowing the engine to burn fuel more efficiently. Because of this, vehicles can travel around 100 km extra in a year, based on average Indian driving conditions.

No Extra Cost for Customers

Despite offering added benefits, Jio-bp has confirmed that this petrol is sold at the same price as regular petrol. This means customers get better mileage and engine health without paying more at the fuel station.

Tested in Real Driving Conditions

Jio-bp tested this fuel on motorcycles over 4,000 km at a test track in Coimbatore. The company shared images showing that engines using ACTIVE Technology petrol were noticeably cleaner compared to those running on regular fuel.

Jio-bp’s Bigger Energy Plans

Along with this petrol, Jio-bp is also expanding into other areas like EV charging, aviation fuel, diesel delivery, and future energy solutions. The company aims to support India’s growing and changing mobility needs.
