JSW MG Motor India July 2026 Sales: Records Highest-Ever Monthly Wholesales of 8,158 Units

JSW MG Motor India has continued its strong growth momentum by recording its highest-ever monthly wholesale dispatches for the second consecutive month. The company dispatched 8,158 vehicles to dealerships across India in July 2026, driven by robust demand for its electric vehicle lineup and improving market sentiment.

The latest sales performance reflects the growing popularity of MG’s new energy vehicle portfolio, with electric models accounting for more than 80% of the company’s total sales during the month.

July Sales Grow 22% Year-on-Year

In July 2026, JSW MG Motor India dispatched 8,158 units, compared to 6,678 units in July 2025. This translates to a 22.16% year-on-year (YoY) growth, with an increase of 1,480 units over the same period last year.

The company also recorded a 7.80% month-on-month (MoM) increase, surpassing its previous record of 7,568 units achieved in June 2026. The latest performance represents an additional 590 units over the previous month, highlighting consistent growth in demand.

EV Lineup Continues to Drive Growth

Electric vehicles remained the key growth driver for JSW MG Motor India during July. Models such as the MG Comet EV, MG Windsor EV, and MG ZS EV continued to attract buyers, supported by enhanced EV subsidies and increasing consumer interest in sustainable mobility.

Alongside its EV portfolio, the company also offers popular internal combustion engine (ICE) models, including the Astor, Hector, and Majestor, giving customers multiple powertrain options across different segments.

Company Focused on Customer Experience

Commenting on the company’s performance, Anurag Mehrotra, Managing Director of JSW MG Motor India, said the strong July results reflect growing customer confidence in the brand. He added that consistent retail demand demonstrates the strength of MG’s expanding product portfolio and its ability to meet changing customer expectations.

The company also plans to strengthen customer ownership through innovative initiatives such as MG ADAPT, while continuing to accelerate the adoption of sustainable mobility in India.

New ADAPT Platform to Support Future Launches

Earlier in July, JSW MG Motor India introduced its ADAPT (Advance Drive Architecture Platform Technology) platform, India’s first Multi-New Energy Vehicle (NEV) architecture. The platform has been developed to support multiple powertrains, including battery electric vehicles (EVs), hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs), plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs), and range extender electric vehicles (REEVs).

The new platform is expected to underpin two upcoming SUVs, including an all-electric model and a plug-in hybrid SUV. Both vehicles have already been spotted testing and are expected to be launched during the current financial year. The upcoming models are likely to be offered in both five-seat and seven-seat configurations, further expanding MG’s presence in India’s rapidly growing new energy vehicle market.
