Kia Motors has introduced the all-new Kia Carens CNG in the Indian market. This is the company’s first CNG vehicle in India, with a starting price of Rs 11.77 lakh (ex-showroom).
The new Carens Premium (O) trim now comes with dealership-fitted CNG kits. The CNG kit for the Kia Carens is supplied by Lovato, a reputable brand in the automotive industry.
It includes a third-party warranty that covers three years or up to 100,000 kilometers, whichever comes first. This new CNG option enhances the Carens’ appeal for fleet operators looking for cost-effective, high-mileage vehicles.

Kia Carens CNG: Design
In terms of design, the Kia Carens CNG closely resembles its previous generation model. This vehicle is built on the same advanced platform as the Seltos, ensuring strong structural integrity and smooth driving dynamics.
The Carens CNG features sleek LED headlamps, signature daytime running lights (DRLs), and stylish LED taillights that enhance its premium appearance. With a length of 4,540 mm and a wheelbase of 2,780 mm, it offers generous cabin space and comfort.

Kia Carens CNG: Powertrain
The all-new Kia Carens CNG is powered by a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine. This engine produces a maximum power of 115 horsepower and peak torque of 110 Nm. However, the official power output for the CNG variant has not been disclosed yet, so it may vary.

Kia Carens CNG: Cabin
The cabin of the Kia Carens CNG is designed to provide comfort, convenience, and practicality for families.
It features an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system that offers seamless smartphone connectivity, roof-mounted AC vents for the second and third rows, and premium semi-leatherette upholstery for a refined atmosphere.
The MPV also includes keyless entry, electric external rearview mirrors (ORVMs), a shark-fin antenna, and a rear-view camera for easy maneuvering.
Safety is a top priority, with six airbags, ABS with EBD, traction control, and other features ensuring complete peace of mind on every drive.
