Kia Motors is set to launch its all-new Kia Syros EV in the Indian market. Reports indicate that this model has been spotted during testing on Indian roads for the first time, including sightings at a charging station.
The Syros EV is expected to compete with the Kia Nexon EV in India. This electric vehicle will be equipped with a lithium-ion battery pack that offers a range of 370 km on a full charge.
The design and interior of the upcoming Syros EV will be quite similar to its internal combustion engine (ICE) sibling.
Let’s explore the expected features of the Kia Syros EV.

Expected Features of the Kia Syros EV
The Kia Syros EV is anticipated to maintain the bold and upright stance of its ICE counterpart, showcasing Kia’s signature Digital Tiger Face grille, vertical LED headlamps, squared wheel arches, and L-shaped tail-lamps.
It may also include EV-specific enhancements such as redesigned bumpers, aerodynamic alloy wheels, and a front charging port. The cabin is expected to closely resemble that of the standard Syros but may feature unique trims and EV-inspired upholstery.
Built on the reinforced K1 platform, the Syros EV is likely to share similar sub-4-metre dimensions and wheelbase. Although the company has not disclosed specific details about the powertrain, it may borrow components from the Hyundai Ioniq EV.
