KTM motorcycle has officially launched its much-anticipated KTM Duke 160 in India. This bike has been launched at the starting price of Rs 1.85 lakh (ex-showroom). This new bike aims to capture the attention of young riders seeking for a high performance bike. 

It has been equipped with 164.2cc engine, 5-inch display and many premium features, which actually make it one of the best option available in this price range.

Design and Dimensions of KTM Duke 160

In terms of design KTM 160 Duke borrow some design elements from the 200 Duke, featuring sharp tank shrouds and a muscular stance. It also has LED lighting setup with twin-LED headlamp, LED turn indicators and LED tail lamp.  

This is available in three striking colors: Electronic Orange, Atlantic Blue, and Silver Metallic Matte.

In terms of dimension bike measures 1,357 mm in wheelbase, offers a ground clearance of 174 mm, and has a seat height of 815 mm. It also has a kerb weight of 147 kg. 

Apart from this bike has allow wheels and tubeless tyres. Also, Duke 160 boasts a 5-inch LCD instrument cluster with smartphone connectivity, providing turn-by-turn navigation, call/SMS alerts, and music controls.

The latest Duke 160 has been powered by 164.2cc, liquid-cooled, single cylinder engine. This engine produces 19 PS at 9,500 rpm and 15.5 Nm of torque at 7,500 rpm, making it one of the most powerful in its segment.

The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox and features ride-by-wire technology for precise throttle response. 

While official top speed figures are yet to be disclosed, the 160 Duke is expected to reach speeds of approximately 120-125 km/h and its fuel efficiency is estimated at around 38 km/l.

Suspension Braking and More

The latest Duke 160 has been equipped with a 320 mm front disc and a 230 mm rear disc. It also has dual-channel ABS for enhanced safety.

Suspension duties of this bike are handled by WP Apex USD forks at the front with 138 mm travel and a monoshock at the rear offering comfortable ride in cities as well as highways.
