Mahindra is stepping up its game in the electric vehicle space, and the latest proof is the Mahindra BE Rall-E — a tough, off-road-ready version of the BE 6 electric SUV.
The SUV was recently spotted testing on Indian roads, hinting that it’s almost ready for production. A launch is expected by the end of 2025. Let’s take a closer look at what this bold electric SUV could bring to the table.
So, Lets know about this electric car in detail.

Mahindra BE Rall-E: Design
The Mahindra BE Rall-E retains the distinctive silhouette of the BE 6 but introduces several enhancements tailored for off-road performance. Mahindra BE Rall-E: Powertrain
While official specifications are yet to be confirmed, the BE Rall-E is expected to be Mahindra’s first electric SUV equipped with a dual-motor all-wheel-drive (AWD) system.
This setup would differentiate it from the single-motor rear-wheel-drive configurations of the BE 6 and XUV.e9. The BE Rall-E is likely to share its powertrain options with the BE 6, offering two battery pack choices: a 59 kWh unit delivering 231 PS and 380 Nm of torque with a claimed range of 535 km, and a 79 kWh unit producing 286 PS and 380 Nm with a range of 682 km.
Mahindra BE Rall-E: Cabin
Although interior images of the BE Rall-E are not yet available, it is anticipated to carry forward many features from the BE 6, including a two-spoke steering wheel and advanced infotainment systems.
Given its off-road orientation, the BE Rall-E may also incorporate specialized drive modes and features such as Hill Descent Control and electronic locking differentials to enhance its capabilities.
Mahindra BE Rall-E: Price and Availability
The BE Rall-E is poised to carve a niche in the Indian EV market as a lifestyle-oriented electric SUV with serious off-road credentials. Its primary competitors are expected to include the upcoming Tata Harrier EV, which also features a dual-motor AWD setup.
Mahindra has indicated that the BE Rall-E will be positioned under its “Products” category, suggesting a clear intent for production. The launch is anticipated to follow the debut of the XUV700 Electric, placing it in the latter part of 2025.
The expected price of BE Rall-E will be around Rs 20-25 lakh ex-showroom.
