Car company Mahindra and Mahindra recently unveiled its Mahindra Global Pik Up truck at Cape Town, South Africa. Company has made this SUV for a Off-road enthusiasts with safety class features.
Company is planning to increase its sales through this truck in Global Market. This car will be launch in Africa, Australia and many more market.
This car features Pik Up features a roof-mounted LED light bar, wheel arches, generously sized all-terrain tires and LED headlamp to rear. It has a Mahindra branding tailgate, truck bed and 5-seater cabin.
Mahindra Global Pik Up: PowertrainΒ
Mahindra Global Pick Up version gets the same 2.2-litre diesel 4×4 powertrain as the Mahindra Scorpio-N, which produces 132 Ps of power and 300 Nm of peak torque.
For transmission this engine is mated to a 6-manual gearbox. Its power goes up to 175 Ps and torque to 400 Nm with a 6-speed automatic transmission gearbox.
The company has not revealed the timeline for the global launch of the Mahindra Global Pik Up. However, Mahindra has made it clear that it will be launched in India along with other countries.
Mahindra Global Pik Up: ChangesΒ
Mahindra Global Pik Up truck retains SUV-like door panels, ORVMs and kinks in the windowline.
Mahindra has flanked it with a high-snorkel on the driver-side of the A-pillar, a roof rack with auxiliary LED lighting and side steps.
Special alloy wheels have been given for better off-roading on rough roads. At the rear, an opening gate for the payload bay gets vertically mounted LED taillights with company badging.
