India’s leading automobile company Mahindra and Mahindra is planning to introduce five new cars in the Indian market. The company will introduce these models in a phased manner.
As per the reports, the company will expand its portfolio with new EVs, some facelift models and next-generation models.
So, in this article we have brought you the list of five upcoming Mahindra cars in India.

Mahindra Thar Facelift
Mahindra Thar is one of the best-selling off-roading SUVs in the Indian market and now the company is planning to introduce it in a facelift version. As per the reports, Mahindra Thar Facelift will make its way on 1 September 2025.
The updated model will borrow some design elements from the Thar Roxx model, which may include the front grille, bumpers, headlights and tail lamps. Its cabin, infotainment system, and steering wheel will also be similar to the Roxx model.
It will come equipped with an option of three engines i.e. 1.5-litre diesel engine, 2.2-litre diesel and 2.0-litre turbo petrol engines. We are expecting that the company will launch this SUV at a starting price of Rs 12 lakh ex-showroom.

Mahindra XEV 7e
Mahindra has already given hints about the launch of Mahindra XEV 7e. As per the reports, the company will launch this model by the end of 2025.
This car has been built on the INGLO skateboard platform shared with XEV 9e and BE 6. Actually, this car is the electric version of the XUV700.
Talking about the powertrain, it will be available in two battery-pack options i.e. 59 kWh and 79 kWh and will be available with rear driving mode.
The company may launch this EV at the starting price between Rs 25.00 – Rs 35.00 lakh (ex-showroom).

Next-Generation Mahindra Bolero
The upcoming New-Gen Mahindra Bolero, long known for its rugged simplicity, is set to receive a major update. The SUV will be equipped with a panoramic sunroof, marking a dramatic shift toward premium features in the utility SUV segment.
The next-gen Bolero will ride on Mahindra’s NFA platform, designed to support ICE, hybrid, and electric powertrains. This platform is also expected to underpin future global models, giving the Bolero a more refined ride and better safety credentials.
Mahindra hasn’t officially confirmed engine specs, but reports suggest the SUV will offer both petrol and diesel options, possibly derived from the Scorpio-N’s lower-tuned powertrains.
We are expecting that the price of this upcoming SUV will be around Rs 11-12 lakh ex-showroom.
Mahindra XUV3XO EV
Mahindra is also working on the XUV3XO EV and it will make its way to the Indian market in the upcoming months. It will have a similar design to the conventionally-powered XUV3XO.
The company is testing this car under the codename S240. We are expecting that its powertrain will be similar to the XUV400 EV model i.e. 34.5 kWh and 39.4 kWh units.
It will also get feature-loaded tech like ADAS, panoramic sunroof, 360-degree parking camera, dual-zone climate control and more. The company may launch this EV at a starting price range of Rs 15.00 – 18.00 lakh (ex-showroom).

Mahindra XUV700 Facelift
Mahindra is gearing up to launch its Mahindra XUV700 facelift in the Indian market. This will be the first major facelift since its 2021 debut.
The XUV700 Facelift will reveal a reworked front fascia, featuring sleeker production-spec LED headlights with distinct chambers for low and high beams which are likely to house projector units.
First, this car will be equipped with a 2.0L Turbo Petrol engine. It will also have the option of a 2.2L Turbo Diesel engine. Both engines will be offered with 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmissions.
The current XUV700 is priced between Rs 14.49 lakh and Rs 25.14 lakh (ex-showroom). The facelifted version is expected to carry a modest premium, with top-end variants possibly crossing the Rs 28 lakh mark.
