Mahindra and Mahindra has unveiled its all new Mahindra Vision T SUV in the Indian market on Independence Day. Company is planning to introduced this model in 2027.
This is a concept model of the car and it has been equipped with upright, boxy, lifestyle SUV previewing the next chapter of the Thar lineage. This car has been built on the brand-new NU IQ multi-energy platform.
Company will positioned it below the Thar Roxx, Mahindra is targeting a more accessible price band while keeping serious off-road intent and modern tech front and centre.
So, lets know about this model in details.

Mahindra Vision T SUV: Design
Vision T SUV has been built on Mahindra’s NU IQ architecture, engineered for EVs, hybrids and ICE. The platform supports 3,990–4,320 mm overall length and a 2,665 mm wheelbase. It also has a tight 10.3 m turning radius.
The Vision T wears a squared-off silhouette with a flat bonnet and prominent latches, chunky cladding, exposed tow hook, roof-carrier hooks and a tailgate-mounted spare.
At the front end you will get a split grille with horizontal slats, square headlamps framed by vertical LED DRLs. It also has a rear echoes the theme with blocky LED tail-lamps.

Powertrain and Cabin
Mahindra hasn’t published battery sizes or range for Vision T yet. However, the NU IQ toolkit is compatible with ICE, hybrid and pure-EV layouts, front- or all-wheel drive.
Given the concept’s positioning and design cues, a dual-motor AWD EV is likely on the cards, with the company signaling LFP chemistry alignment seen on its latest EVs. Exact outputs and range figures will come closer to production.
Mahindra is targeting a 5-star rating for NU_IQ-based products, and the cabin/sensor layout suggests room for advanced driver assistance when the production model lands. Expect modern ADAS and connected-car features to be part of the rollout strategy.
Price and Availability
The price of Vision T SUV will be announced later and it is expected that company may launch this model at starting price of Rs 12–22 lakh (ex-showroom). Vision T will compete with Maruti Suzuki Jimny and Force Gurkha (3- & 5-door), alongside lower Thar Roxx variants.
