Mahindra has officially started bookings for its newly launched Mahindra XUV 7XO in the Indian market, with an introductory price of Rs 13.6 lakh (ex-showroom). Along with bookings, the company has also begun delivering the SUV to customers across the country.
In the initial phase, deliveries are being prioritised for the higher-end variants, including AX7, AX7T and AX7L. The XUV 7XO is also offered in lower trims such as AX, AX3 and AX5, but deliveries for these variants will take place at a later date. This phased rollout strategy helps Mahindra manage demand efficiently.

Features of the Mahindra XUV 7XO
Mahindra has loaded the SUV with several modern features to improve comfort and safety. It gets a 540-degree camera for better all-round visibility and ventilated seats for the front and second rows.
The climate control and music settings can be managed through a touch-based control panel. For entertainment, there is a 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system with Dolby Atmos.
The SUV also offers wireless charging and comes with Level-2 ADAS, which has been specially tuned for Indian road conditions.
Design of the Mahindra XUV 7XO
The Mahindra XUV 7XO features a bold and modern design that blends ruggedness with premium appeal. Its strong shoulder lines, wide stance, and sculpted body give it a commanding road presence.
The SUV measures approximately 4,805 mm in length, 1,990 mm in width and 1,760 mm in height, with a long wheelbase that enhances cabin space and stability. At the front, it sports sleek LED daytime running lights, a bold grille and sharp headlamps that add to its aggressive look.
At the rear, stylish LED taillights and a clean tailgate design complete the premium aesthetic, making the XUV 7XO stand out in its segment.

The cabin of the Mahindra XUV 7XO is designed to feel spacious, modern and comfortable for all occupants. High-quality materials and soft-touch surfaces are used throughout, giving the interior a premium look.
The dashboard features a large dual-screen layout for the instrument cluster and infotainment system, making controls and information easy to access.
Seats are well-contoured with good support, and the first two rows get ventilation for added comfort in hot weather. There’s ample headroom and legroom in all three rows, making long journeys pleasant for families.
Ambient lighting, thoughtful storage spaces and advanced connectivity features further enhance the overall cabin experience.

Powertrain of the Mahindra XUV 7XO
The Mahindra XUV 7XO is powered by a strong and efficient 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission, delivering smooth performance for both city driving and highway cruising. This engine produces robust power and torque figures that help the SUV feel responsive in overtaking and uphill conditions.
It also has an option of 2.2-litre diesel engine rated at 185 hp. Both engine options come with a choice between a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission, providing flexibility for various driving preferences.
Mahindra has also focused on reducing noise and vibration, making the driving experience refined. The combination of a capable engine and slick automatic gearbox ensures the XUV 7XO feels capable and comfortable in diverse driving situations.
