Maruti Suzuki India Limited’s premium retail channel, NEXA, has achieved a major milestone in the financial year 2024–25 by crossing total sales of more than 5.4 lakh units. This strong performance highlights the growing demand for premium and feature-rich vehicles among Indian car buyers and strengthens NEXA’s position within Maruti Suzuki’s overall business.
NEXA currently retails popular models such as the Baleno, Fronx, Grand Vitara, XL6, Ignis, Jimny, Invicto, and the company’s electric SUV. These vehicles together have helped the NEXA channel contribute a significant share to Maruti Suzuki’s domestic sales during FY25.

200th NEXA Studio Outlet Launched
Alongside this sales milestone, Maruti Suzuki has also opened its 200th NEXA Studio outlet in India. The latest outlet has been inaugurated in Kharkhoda, Haryana. This move is part of the company’s strategy to expand its premium sales and service network beyond major cities and reach customers in smaller towns and emerging markets.
NEXA Studio outlets are smaller-format showrooms compared to regular NEXA dealerships. These outlets are designed to offer customers a premium buying experience in compact spaces, while also providing sales, service support, and spare parts under one roof. This format allows Maruti Suzuki to establish a presence in locations where setting up a full-size showroom may not be feasible.
Focus on Premium Retail Expansion
The NEXA Studio concept was introduced to strengthen Maruti Suzuki’s premium brand image and improve accessibility for customers living outside metro cities. The company aims to increase the reach of its premium models by setting up more such outlets across Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities in the coming years.
With rising interest in premium hatchbacks, SUVs, and electric vehicles, NEXA is expected to play a bigger role in Maruti Suzuki’s future growth. The company plans to further expand the NEXA Studio network in the long term, which will help improve customer reach and strengthen its position in the premium car segment.
What This Means for Buyers?
The strong sales performance of NEXA shows that Indian customers are increasingly looking for better design, advanced features, and a premium showroom experience. With more NEXA Studio outlets opening across the country, buyers in smaller cities will now find it easier to access Maruti Suzuki’s premium cars and after-sales services without travelling to larger cities.
