JSW MG Motor has officially revealed the key features and technologies of its upcoming premium electric MPV, the MG M9, ahead of its much-anticipated launch in India. The M9 will be retailed through the brand’s upscale dealership network, MG Select, catering to a premium audience.

The MG M9 will be available in three sophisticated colour options: Cardiff Black, Luminous White, and Mystic Grey. Bookings are now open via the official MG website at a token amount of ₹51,000.

MG M9: Premium Interior, Designed for Comfort

The MG M9 is crafted to blend luxury with comfort, offering segment-leading features aimed at elevating the in-cabin experience. The MPV will come equipped with 16-way adjustable seats featuring 8 massage modes, ventilation, and heating functions—a first in its category.

Adding to the opulence, it also gets a panoramic sunroof, 64-colour ambient lighting system, a wireless charging pad, and a 12-speaker premium audio system. Interior upholstery choices include Pure Black and Cognac Brown, with a spacious second-row cabin layout for enhanced passenger comfort.

Tech-Packed and Future-Ready

The M9 will feature a large touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, paired with a fully digital instrument cluster that brings a futuristic edge to the cockpit.

Powerful Battery, Practical Range

At its heart, the MG M9 packs a 90kWh floor-mounted battery, delivering an impressive 245bhp and 350Nm of torque. On a full charge, the M9 offers a claimed range of approximately 430 kilometres, making it suitable for both city commutes and intercity travel.

MG hasn’t compromised on safety either. The M9 will come with a suite of advanced safety features, including Power sliding rear doors, 360-degree camera, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Auto Hold Function, and Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)

Pricing and Competition

The M9 will be imported into India as a CBU (Completely Built Unit), and is expected to be priced around ₹65 lakh (ex-showroom). Once launched, it will directly rival the new Kia Carnival, offering buyers an electric and feature-packed alternative in the premium MPV segment.
