In May 2025, JSW MG Motor India reported a significant 40% year-on-year increase in vehicle sales, totaling 6,304 units, up from 4,510 units in May 2024.
This growth is largely attributed to the strong performance of the Windsor EV, which has become India’s best-selling electric car.

Driven by Windsor EV Success of MG Motor
The introduction of the Windsor EV Pro variants, namely the Essence Pro and Exclusive Pro, has played a pivotal role in this success.
These models feature a larger 52.9 kWh battery pack, offering a certified range of 449 km, and come equipped with advanced features such as Level 2 ADAS, Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V), and Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) charging capabilities.

MG Motor MoM Basis Sales
Compared to April 2025, where MG sold 5,829 units, the May figures represent an 8.15% month-on-month growth, indicating a positive sales trajectory.
