New‑Gen Mahindra Bolero Spied Again: Rugged Redefined with Modern Flair

Mahindra is gearing up to reinvent its iconic New‑Gen Mahindra Bolero, and fresh spy shots—accompanied by real-life renders—have surfaced, hinting at a bold transformation.

Retaining its unmistakable boxy silhouette, the next-gen Bolero adopts modern cues from popular siblings like the Scorpio-N and Thar, including flush door handles, circular LED headlights, multi-spoke alloys, and a tailgate-mounted spare wheel.

Poised to debut on 15 August 2025 and expected to ride on Mahindra’s new NFA (New Flexible Architecture) platform, the SUV is estimated to launch between ₹10–12 lakh ex-showroom.

With these updates, Bolero aims for a more premium, urban-ready persona while keeping its rugged DNA intact.

New‑Gen Mahindra Bolero: Design

The latest spy images and real-world renders reveal a refined yet robust exterior. The upright bonnet and flat roofline retain the Bolero’s commanding footprint, while squared-off wheel arches and beefy 17-inch multi-spoke alloys add a contemporary touch.

Premium features like flush door handles, circular LED headlamps with DRLs, vertical tail-lights, and a tailgate-mounted spare wheel echo the design language of the Scorpio-N and Thar, evoking a sense of SUV modernity without forsaking its legendary toughness.

The next-gen Bolero is expected to debut on Mahindra’s New Flexible Architecture (NFA) platform on 15 August 2025, ushering in improved crash safety, ride comfort, and structural rigidity .

This platform is speculated to support monocoque construction with front-wheel drive layout, a departure from the ladder-on-frame design, while possibly offering rear-wheel drive variants for rugged performance.
