Honda Cars India has teased a new special edition of the Honda City Sport Edition, hinting at a sportier version that could launch very soon. The teaser, shared on social media, uses the tagline “Ready for a Sportier Life”, suggesting this could be called the Honda City Sport Edition.
While Honda hasn’t revealed full details yet, the new edition is expected to get cosmetic upgrades to give it a more aggressive and stylish look.

Expected Features of the Honda City Sport Edition
As per the new features Honda City Sport Edition has been equipped with Blacked-out front grille and ORVMs, Shark-fin antenna and boot lip spoiler, New alloy wheel design, Sporty black interior with red stitching, and Sport badging on the exterior.
These updates are likely inspired by the Elevate Dark Edition, which also featured similar blacked-out styling.
Mechanically, the City Sport Edition will remain the same. It will continue to use the 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol engine, producing 119 bhp and 145 Nm of torque. Buyers will still have the option of a 6-speed manual or a CVT automatic gearbox.
Launch Timeline Of Honda City Sport Edition
Since the teaser of Honda City Sport Edition is already out, the launch is expected to happen in the coming weeks. Pricing is likely to be slightly higher than the standard City, depending on the trim and added features. We are expecting that company may launch this car at the starting price of Rs 13 lakh ex-showroom.
Once launched, the City Sport Edition will compete with other sporty sedans like the Volkswagen Virtus Sport and the Hyundai Verna Turbo, both of which also offer blacked-out styling and performance-focused looks.
