The iconic British motorcycle brand Norton is making waves once again as its next-generation Norton V4 superbike has been spotted testing on public roads, hinting at an imminent global debut.

With redesigned aesthetics, upgraded internals, and a focus on premium performance, the upcoming V4 could mark Norton’s serious return to the top-tier superbike segment both globally and in India.

Norton V4 Expected Design: Sharper, Sleeker, and Meaner

From the latest spy shots, the Norton V4 retains its aggressive superbike DNA but gets several visual tweaks. It has a completely redesigned fairing with sharper aerodynamic lines, new twin-pod LED headlamps integrated into a sleeker front cowl.

Apart from this it also has a carbon-fibre components across the body to enhance performance and reduce weight. We can also see a prominent underbelly exhaust system and aggressive tail section for enhanced track presence

Overall, the design appears more production-ready and sharper than the earlier prototype, pointing toward improved refinement and downforce.

Engine & Performance: British Powerhouse Reloaded

While official specs remain under wraps, reports suggest the upcoming Norton V4 will retain a 1200cc liquid-cooled V4 engine, which is expected to churn out around 200–210 bhp. It will likely be paired with a 6-speed gearbox, possibly with quickshifter and slipper clutch as standard.

Expect blistering top speeds over 300 km/h, with 0-100 km/h coming in under 3.5 seconds—placing it squarely in the league of performance giants like the Ducati Panigale V4 and BMW M 1000 RR.

Being a modern superbike, the Norton V4 is expected to pack high-end rider aids and electronic wizardry Like Full TFT instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity, Multiple riding modes and traction control, Cornering ABS, launch control, and wheelie control

It will be equipped with Premium Öhlins or Brembo suspension & braking components for top-tier track performance.

Expected Price and Rivals in India

Once launched, the Norton V4 is expected to be priced around ₹35–40 lakh (ex-showroom) in India, making it a direct rival like Ducati Panigale V4 / V4 R, BMW M 1000 RR, Aprilia RSV4 Factory, and Kawasaki Ninja H2.
