Yamaha Motor India has officially launched the updated new Yamaha Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid in the Indian market.

This scooter bringing fresh styling, improved technology, and better performance for the 2025 model year.

Fascino blends retro-inspired design with modern features, offering an attractive package in the competitive 125cc scooter segment to target young urban riders.

New Yamaha Fascino 125: Design

New Yamaha Fascino retains its iconic curvy silhouette but now features refreshed graphics, chrome accents, and a premium paint finish.

It has a stylish bodywork, LED headlamp, and chrome-finished grab rail give it a distinctive presence, appealing to both style-conscious and practical buyers.

It also has a alloy wheels with tubeless tyres. Overall this scooter is very comfortable and suitable for both city and highway drive.

Also, this scooter comes with a digital-analog instrument cluster, side-stand engine cut-off, start-stop system, and a Smart Motor Generator for silent starts.

This instrument cluster supports Yamaha’s Bluetooth-enabled Y-Connect app adds smartphone connectivity for call/SMS alerts and maintenance reminders.

New Fascino comes equipped with a 125cc, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine paired with Yamaha’s Smart Motor Generator (SMG) hybrid assist. This setup delivers a smooth power boost during acceleration, improving both performance and fuel efficiency.

Fascino claims an impressive 68.75 kmpl mileage (under IDC conditions) and can achieve a top speed of around 90 km/h, making it efficient yet zippy for city commutes.

Suspension and Braking

New Fascino rides on telescopic front forks and a rear monoshock, tuned for comfort on Indian roads. For braking, it gets a front disc brake with Unified Braking System (UBS) and rear drum setup for added safety.

Price and Rivals

The range-topping Yamaha Fascino S 125 Fi Hybrid with the new TFT display is priced at Rs 1.02 lakh (ex-showroom), about Rs 7,000 more than the standard Fascino S.

In India it competes with the Honda Activa 125, Suzuki Access 125, and TVS Jupiter 125 in India.
