Renault is planning to launch its next-gen Renault Duster for the Indian customers again. As per the media reports this SUV will make its way to the India on 26th January 2026.
The testing of the Duster has already begun in the India and customers are waiting for it to be launch. The next-gen Duster will come equipped with larger infotainment screen and Duster-inspired LED DRLs, making the Kwid look bolder and more premium.
Initially, the Duster will be available with both a naturally aspirated petrol engine and a turbocharged petrol engine, with the hybrid option introduced later.

What are the Expected Features of Next-Gen Renault Duster?
Talking about the design the Next-Gen Renault Duster will have a bold and rugged design. In terms of dimension this SUV will be 4,340 mm in length, 1,810 mm in width, and approximately 1,660 mm in height.
It will be built on Renault’s CMF-B platform, it will include modern Y-shaped LED daytime running lights (DRLs), squared wheel arches, thick body cladding, and a muscular stance highlighted by a sculpted bonnet and a chrome-accented grille.
The rear section of the SUV will be equipped with distinctive Y-shaped LED tail lamps. Renault Duster with a high ground clearance of 217 mm, ample boot space of around 472 litres, and improved rear legroom, the Duster Hybrid aims to combine tough SUV styling with comfort and everyday usability.

Upcoming Renault Duster has a spacious and upright cabin layout, featuring a layered dashboard, a floating infotainment screen, and practical rectangular air conditioning vents.
It will feature premium touches, including a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 7-inch fully digital instrument cluster, and an Arkamys 3D sound system.
Apart from this SUV will also equipped with ventilated front seats, automatic climate control, rear AC vents, wireless phone charging, and USB-C ports available for front and rear passengers. The dashboard will showcase a layered design focused on the driver, with neatly arranged physical controls for the air conditioning and media systems.

Powertrain of Next-Gen Renault Duster
As per the reports, the upcoming Duster will be equipped with 1.6-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine combined with two electric motors and a 1.2 kWh battery pack, producing a total output of 140 PS.
It will also has a unique multi-mode automatic gearbox—4-speed for petrol and 2-speed for electric—allowing for a seamless transition between electric-only, hybrid, and petrol driving modes. This setup enables the SUV to run on electric power for up to 80% of city driving, enhancing fuel efficiency.
Duster Hybrid will come with multiple terrain modes, including Eco, Snow, Mud/Sand, and Off-road, making it versatile for various driving conditions.
Price of Next-Gen Renault Duster
The price and availability of the Next-Gen Renault Duster will be announced at the time of its launch on 26th January 2026. Reports suggest that this SUV will be launch at the starting price of Rs 10 lakh ex-showroom.
In India it will compete with Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Hyundai Creta, and Kia Seltos.
