Indian automobile electric company Oben Electric is set to launch its new electric bike, the Oben Rorr EZ, in India on August 5th.
Reports indicate that this updated model will feature advanced technology, rider-centric attributes, and enhanced performance, reliability, and practicality.
Starting August 5th, the company will begin accepting bookings for the bike, with deliveries expected to commence on August 15th.

Design of the Next-Generation Oben Rorr EZ
The Next-Generation Oben Rorr EZ boasts a sporty design, featuring circular LED headlights, aerodynamically shaped mirrors, and LED turn indicators. This neoclassic electric bike is built on the ARX frame.
It also includes a TFT instrument cluster with Bluetooth and smartphone connectivity, along with alloy wheels and tubeless tires at the rear.
Apart from this reports indicates that this bike will be available in four different color options.

Powertrain
The Oben Rorr EZ will be available with three battery pack options. The first is a 2.6 kWh battery pack, providing an electric range of 110 km. The second option is a 3.4 kWh battery pack, offering a range of 140 km.
The most powerful option is a 4.4 kWh battery pack, which delivers a range of 175 km per charge.
This bike has a top speed of 95 km/h and it can accelerate from 0-40 km/h in just 3.3 second.
Charging the bike with an AC home charger will take about 2 hours.
Suspension and Braking
For the suspension setup, the Oben Rorr EZ will feature inverted front forks at the front and a mono-shock unit at the rear.
It will be equipped with a disc brake at the front and a drum brake at the rear. Additionally, the bike will come with multiple riding modes.

Price and Availability
The pricing and availability of the next-generation Oben Rorr EZ will be revealed during the launch event.
However, reports suggest that the starting price for the base version will be around Rs 1 lakh, while the top version may be priced at Rs 1.35 lakh.
In the Indian market, this electric bike will compete with OLA’s electric offerings.
