Qargos F9 Electric Scooter Spied With Massive 225-Litre Boot: 150km Range and 120kg Cargo Capacity

The Qargos F9 electric cargo scooter has been spotted testing on Indian roads again. The Pune-based electric mobility startup has designed the F9 specifically for last-mile delivery and commercial applications.

Unlike conventional electric scooters, the F9 places a large storage compartment ahead of the rider. This setup gives it a massive 225-litre boot, which is comparable to the luggage space of some small cars.

The scooter can carry around 120kg of cargo and could serve delivery companies, logistics operators and businesses that need regular urban transportation.

The latest spy shots reveal more details about its unusual design and hardware.

Qargos F9: Design and 225-Litre Boot Space

The Qargos F9 follows a completely different design approach from conventional scooters. Its large cargo compartment sits ahead of the rider, creating a long front section that gives the scooter its unusual appearance.

The storage area remains enclosed and illuminated, while the latest test mule appears to feature two separate compartments with individual hinged doors.

The 225-litre storage area can carry up to 120kg of cargo. Qargos could also adapt the space for applications such as a mobile refrigerator or mobile shop. The scooter gets a single-seat layout, with the rider positioned behind the cargo compartment.

Qargos F9: Battery, Motor and Range

The Qargos F9 uses a 6.1kWh battery pack connected to a 3.4kW BLDC hub motor mounted at the rear. According to the information available with the latest test mule, the electric cargo scooter can deliver a claimed range of around 150km on a single charge.

Its reported top speed stands at approximately 80kmph. These specifications make the F9 suitable for urban delivery operations where frequent stops and regular cargo movement remain important.

The large battery should also help commercial users cover longer daily routes before requiring a recharge. Qargos has not yet announced the final production specifications.

Qargos F9: Features and Hardware

The latest test scooter features a circular LED headlamp and LED turn indicators, along with a handlebar-mounted instrument cluster. The F9 also gets telescopic front suspension, a rear grab rail and a front disc brake. The test mule appears to use large wheels, possibly 14-inch units, although Qargos has not confirmed their exact size.

The rear wheel houses the hub motor. The riding position places the handlebar and instrument cluster close to the rider, while the extended front section accommodates the large cargo compartment. The layout aims to provide practical storage without compromising the rider’s access to the controls.

Qargos F9: Expected Price and Launch

Qargos has not announced the F9’s launch date or price yet. The electric cargo scooter will primarily target last-mile delivery, logistics and other commercial users rather than private buyers. Its 225-litre storage capacity and 150km claimed range could become its biggest selling points when it reaches the market.
