The British automotive company Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) has implemented a substantial reduction in the price of the Range Rover Velar in India.
Buyers will now enjoy a discount of 6.4 lakh rupees when purchasing this vehicle in February 2024. The Range Rover Velar facelift was introduced in July last year.
This model of Range Rover offers metallic Varesine Blue and premium metallic Jedar Grey color options, along with a choice of two leather colors – Caraway and Deep Garnet, positioning it in competition with the BMW X5.
Range Rover Velar: Features
In terms of its design, the Range Rover Velar comes with fresh pixel LED headlights, a robust hood carrying the ‘Range Rover’ logo, a broad grille, side mirrors with integrated indicators, and large 23-inch alloy wheels featuring multiple spokes.
At the rear, it sports a roof-mounted spoiler, a rear windshield wiper, and a split tailgate.

Inside, you’ll find an entirely black dashboard, an 11.4-inch curved touchscreen for the infotainment system, diverse ambient lighting, a panoramic sunroof, multi-zone climate control, and a leather-clad steering wheel.
The Velar features a 2.0-liter mono-turbocharged petrol engine that delivers 247hp power and 365Nm torque. Additionally, it offers another 2.0-liter inline-6 engine with a 48V mild-hybrid system, producing 204hp power and 430Nm peak torque.
It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.3 seconds.
Now, the price of this luxurious vehicle has dropped from ₹94.30 lakhs to ₹87.9 lakhs (ex-showroom) in February 2024.
