Renault Duster 7-Seater Spied Again: Interior, Engine and Expected Price
Renault is continuing road tests of its upcoming three-row SUV in India, which could launch as the Renault Duster 7-Seater or carry the Boreal name. Fresh spy images have revealed some interior details of the upcoming family SUV.
The model will sit above the five-seat Duster and could become Renault India’s flagship SUV. It is expected to share several design elements, cabin features and engine options with the standard Duster.
Renault could unveil the new SUV in early 2027, although the company has not confirmed the final name or launch date. The new model will target buyers looking for a spacious SUV with three rows of seats.

Renault Duster 7-Seater: Expected Design
The upcoming three-row Renault SUV will retain the rugged design of the new Duster but will feature a longer body to accommodate the third row. Spy shots suggest a redesigned front bumper with a revised air intake and new detailing.
The SUV could retain the familiar LED daytime running lights and headlamp design. On the sides, it may get new alloy wheels, thick wheel-arch cladding, roof rails and rear door handles mounted on the doors.
The rear could feature C-shaped LED tail lamps, a rear wiper, an integrated roof spoiler and a chunky bumper. The longer rear section should help Renault create more space for passengers.
Renault Duster 7-Seater: Expected Powertrain
Renault has not confirmed the engine options for its upcoming three-row SUV. However, the model could share its powertrain range with the new five-seat Duster.
The current Duster offers a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine producing around 100hp and a 1.3-litre turbo-petrol unit producing 163hp. Renault also offers a 1.8-litre strong-hybrid powertrain with a combined output of 160hp.
The smaller turbo-petrol engine comes with a six-speed manual gearbox, while the larger turbo-petrol engine offers manual and dual-clutch automatic options.
The hybrid uses an automatic transmission. Renault has not confirmed which engines or gearboxes will feature in the three-row SUV.

Renault Duster 7-Seater: Expected Cabin and Features
The latest spy images offer a glimpse of the upcoming SUV’s cabin. It appears to get a three-spoke multifunction steering wheel, rectangular air-conditioning vents and dual-tone black-and-brown upholstery.
The dashboard layout and centre console could share several elements with the five-seat Duster. The SUV is expected to offer a touchscreen infotainment system, a digital instrument cluster, automatic climate control and connected-car features.
A panoramic sunroof, wireless smartphone connectivity and rear AC vents could also feature, depending on the variant. The longer body will accommodate a third row, making the SUV more practical for larger families.
Renault has not confirmed the final equipment list or third-row space.

These may include six airbags, electronic stability control, a tyre-pressure monitoring system, a 360-degree camera and front and rear parking sensors.
Higher variants could also offer Level 2 advanced driver assistance systems, including lane-keeping assistance, adaptive cruise control and autonomous emergency braking. These features could help improve safety and make the SUV easier to drive in city traffic. The final safety package will depend on the variant and market specification.
