The new KTM 390 Adventure has a 373cc single cylinder, liquid cooled engine, which can generate a maximum power of 44bhp. It is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Due to engine tuning, the company has increased the torque to 37Nm.
Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 has a 451.65cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, which is capable of delivering 40bhp power. For transmission, this powertrain is paired with 6 speed transmission.

The new KTM 390 Adventure and the new Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 come with disc brakes on both the front and rear wheels. Similarly, dual-channel anti braking system (ABS) and riding modes are also provided in both the bikes.
Keeping in mind the suspension of both the two-wheelers, telescopic forks are available at the front. The KTM 390 Adventure has a twin rear shock absorber at the rear, while the Himalayan 452 has a mono shock unit at the rear.

The starting price of KTM 390 Adventure in India is Rs 3.4 lakh ex-showroom. On the other hand, Himalayan 452 can be launched around Rs 2.5 lakh. Both of these are off-roading bikes of the adventure tourer segment.
The 2024 KTM 390 Adventure is a strong offering from the company. Although it is expected to cost a little more, our vote goes to the Himalayan 452 due to its affordability. This bike is a value for money option for you.
