Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 spotted testing again

Classic bike maker Royal Enfield is working on its most powerful Adventure bike Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 for the Indian market. Company’s big bore Himalayan 750 has been caught testing once more.

This time its near-production model spotted moving rapidly toward showrooms. As per the model reports senior RE leaders told they’re “well into the process” and “moving towards production,” while fresh spy shots from Ladakh/Leh show final-looking bodywork and hardware.

The larger Himalayan will sell alongside the current 450, not replace it. Also, reports indicates that company may unveil this model at the EICMA 2025 (November), with an India launch likely soon after.

Royal Enfield Himalayan 750: Design

In terms of design the Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 will be based on the current generation Himalayan 450. It will come equipped with RE’s round TFT with Google Maps navigation and smartphone connectivity. Final feature list will be confirmed at unveil.

Prototypes reveal its road-biased ADV stance. It will have a new frame/subframe, and 19-inch front / 17-inch rear wheels (touring focus vs the 21/17 setup on the 450).

Test mules have shown alloy wheels on at least one variant, a round LED headlamp, sizable windscreen, semi-fairing and a luggage-ready tail.

Himalayan 750 Will come equipped with 750cc engine

As per the reports the upcoming Himalayan 750 will be equipped with 750cc engine, which will be the updated version of the company’s 650 parallel twin engine. This engine will generate maximum power of around 60 Nm.

For transmission tis engine will be mated with 6-speed gearbox. Its spy shots shows that the Himalayan 750 will be equipped with dual disc brake with switchable ABS and traction control.

For suspension this bike will have an upside-down front fork and link-type monoshock at the rear end.

Price and Availability

The price and availability of the upcoming Himalayan 750 will be announced at the time of its launch. As per the reports company is planning to launch this bike at the starting price of Rs 4 lakh ex-showroom in the Indian market.

If launched it will compete with Kawasaki Versys 650, Suzuki V-Strom 650XT, CFMoto 650MT and KTM 790 Adventure in India.
