Skoda has launched the updated Kushaq facelift in India and has also opened bookings for interested buyers. The carmaker has confirmed that the prices will be revealed in March.
The refreshed Kushaq will be sold in five variants – Classic Plus, Signature, Sportline, Prestige and Monte Carlo. With this update, Skoda has given the mid-size SUV a fresh exterior look, a more upmarket cabin, several new features, and a new gearbox option.
Once launched, the Kushaq facelift will take on strong rivals like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Tata Sierra and Maruti Grand Vitara in the competitive SUV segment.
Skoda Kushaq facelift: Design
The Kushaq facelift follows Skoda’s latest Modern Solid design language, giving the SUV a sharper and more contemporary look. It features new LED headlamps with eyebrow-style DRLs and distinctive L-shaped lighting signatures.
The front grille is now connected through a segmented light bar, paired with a redesigned front bumper and a bold silver skid plate. Skoda has also added new 16- and 17-inch alloy wheels, along with a connected LED tail-lamp bar and sequential turn indicators. The Monte Carlo variant stands out with red accents on the grille, gloss-black exterior elements and exclusive badging.

Skoda Kushaq facelift: Cabin
Skoda has introduced three fresh exterior colours for the Kushaq facelift — Cherry Red, Shimla Green and Steel Grey. The updated SUV is now slightly longer at 4,229 mm, which is around 4 mm more than the earlier model, while its width, height and wheelbase remain the same.
Practicality has improved with the boot capacity increased to 491 litres, up from 385 litres earlier. On the inside, the cabin feels more upmarket than before.
The Prestige variant comes with a dual-tone black and beige interior, whereas the Monte Carlo version features a bold crimson-themed cabin for a sportier feel.

The SUV comes with a new 10.25-inch digital driver display and a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system. It also gets dual-colour ambient lighting and a panoramic sunroof. Even the base variant now offers an electric sunroof as standard, along with a rear seat massage function, which is a first in the segment.
Other features include 6-way power-adjustable front seats with ventilation, front parking sensors, leatherette upholstery, automatic climate control, a 6-speaker audio system, and a wireless charging pad. Additionally, the infotainment system now comes with an integrated Google Gemini AI assistant for smarter voice commands and connectivity.
On the safety front, the SUV is equipped with six airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control (ESC), traction control, electronic differential lock, and hill-hold assist, ensuring a strong safety package.
Skoda Kushaq facelift: Powertrain
The car is powered by a 1.0-litre TSI turbo-petrol engine, which now gets a new 8-speed torque converter automatic gearbox, replacing the earlier 6-speed unit. A 6-speed manual transmission is also available with this engine.
The second option is a 1.5-litre TSI turbo-petrol engine, paired with a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox.
Price and Availability of upcoming Skoda Kushaq Facelift
The price and availability of the Skoda Kushaq Facelift will be announced at the time of its launched, reports suggest that company may launch this upcoming facelift model at the starting price of Rs 10.25 lakh ex-showroom.
