Suzuki has unveiled its all-new Suzuki Access CNG at the Japan Mobility Show. This scooter model comes with a 2-liter petrol tank and a CNG kit.
The showcased model will operate on CBG (compressed bio-methane gas), which is expected to provide good mileage and enhanced performance.
In terms of design, the scooter will closely resemble the current generation model. Additionally, it will feature a CNG kit stored under the seat.

Features of the Suzuki Access CNG
The Suzuki Access CNG is equipped with an LED lighting setup, including LED turn indicators on the front fender. It also features aerodynamic side mirrors and a TFT display with mobile phone connectivity.
Additionally, the scooter prominently displays the compressed bio-methane gas badging and offers a long, comfortable single seat. The weight of the scooter has been slightly increased due to the CNG/CBG kit.
The Suzuki Access will be powered by a 125cc engine, with a 5-6 liter CNG tank and a 2-liter petrol tank. When fully fueled, this scooter will provide a range of approximately 170 km, and its top speed will be around 70-80 km/h.
In terms of suspension, the scooter is equipped with inverted front forks at the front and a spring system at the rear. For the braking system, it includes a disc brake in the front and a drum brake at the rear.
Price and Availability of Suzuki Access CNG
The price and availability of the upcoming Suzuki Access CNG will be announced at the time of its launch. Reports suggest that the company may launch this scooter with a starting price of around Rs 1 lakh (ex-showroom).
Currently, there are no direct rivals to the Access CNG in the Indian market, making it India’s first scooter available with CNG options.
