Tata Harrier EV Dark Edition in Works: Stealth Styling Meets Electric Sophistication

Tata Motors is gearing up to expand its electric SUV lineup with a bold new addition by launching Tata Harrier EV Dark Edition.

While not officially launched yet, sources close to the development and recent media reports suggest that a stealth-themed variant is in the pipeline and it will be make its way to India later this year.

The Harrier EV Dark Edition will cater to buyers who want performance, safety, and tech-wrapped in a bold, blacked-out aesthetic. With the growing popularity of stealth-themed vehicles in India, this variant could further strengthen Tata’s position in the premium EV SUV segment.

Tata Harrier EV Dark Edition: What to Expect?

The upcoming Tata Harrier EV Dark Edition is expected to carry forward the brand’s signature Oberon Black exterior, complemented by blacked-out alloy wheels, piano black accents, and Dark badging. Much like its ICE counterpart, the EV version will likely feature Matte black paint finish, Smoked LED headlamps and tail lamps, Black roof rails and ORVMs, and Dark-themed aero alloy wheels.

The cabin is expected to sport an all-black Blackstone theme, with tri-arrow perforated leatherette upholstery, piano black inserts, and ambient lighting to elevate the premium feel.

Tata Harrier EV: Features

The Harrier EV Dark Edition will likely be based on the Fearless+ or Empowered trims, meaning it could be equipped with 14.5-inch QLED touchscreen, 10.25-inch digital cluster, JBL 10-speaker system with Dolby Atmos, Level 2 ADAS suite, 360-degree camera with transparent bonnet view, Panoramic sunroof with voice assist, and Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) and Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) charging.

Powertrain and Range

As per the information there will be no mechanical changes are expected in the Dark Edition. It will likely be offered with the 75 kWh battery pack, delivering up to 627 km MIDC range in RWD configuration.

An AWD variant may also be introduced later, featuring dual motors and enhanced off-road capability.

Expected Launch and Pricing

Tata Motors hasn’t confirmed an official launch date, the Harrier EV Dark Edition is expected to debut in late 2025, possibly around the festive season.

Pricing is likely to carry a Rs 30,000-50,000 premium over the standard variants, placing it in the Rs 25–28 lakh (ex-showroom) bracket.
