Tata Motors is gearing up to give its popular micro-SUV, the Tata Punch Facelift, and the latest spy shots have revealed major updates — especially inside the cabin.
Spotted testing on Indian roads, the 2025 Tata Punch facelift is expected to feature cosmetic enhancements, updated tech, and added comfort features to keep it competitive in the ever-growing compact SUV segment.
So, lets know about this upcoming car in detail.

Tata Punch Facelift: Design
The Tata Punch Facelift is expected to get a refreshed and more premium design to keep it in line with Tata’s new-age styling. Spy shots hint at a redesigned front fascia featuring a sleeker grille, updated LED headlamps, and a reworked bumper for a sportier look.

The rear profile may also get subtle tweaks, including updated LED tail lamps and a revised bumper design. New alloy wheel designs and fresh body color options could further enhance its youthful appeal.
Overall, the facelift will retain its boxy SUV stance but with sharper, more modern styling elements to attract new-age buyers.
Tata Punch Facelift: Powertrain
The Tata Punch Facelift is likely to retain its tried-and-tested 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder Revotron petrol engine, which produces 86 PS of power and 113 Nm of torque. This engine will continue to be offered with both a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT gearbox.
The facelifted model is expected to be E20 fuel-compliant, supporting India’s ethanol-blended fuel initiative. Additionally, Tata might introduce a CNG variant with dual-cylinder technology for improved boot space, similar to the Altroz CNG.
While performance figures may remain unchanged, improved refinement and fuel efficiency could be part of the updates in the facelifted version.
Tata Punch Facelift: Cabin and Facelift
The biggest surprise comes from the newly spied cabin. The facelifted Tata Punch now features a larger touchscreen infotainment system, likely the 10.25-inch unit already seen in the Nexon facelift. This upgrade will drastically improve the infotainment experience and may come with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, along with connected car technology through Tata’s iRA platform.
The center console has been redesigned to look more premium, with touch-sensitive HVAC controls, a new gear lever, and improved material quality throughout the dashboard. Higher variants might also receive a fully digital instrument cluster, similar to the one in the Tata Altroz Racer.
Here’s a quick look at the new and expected features in the 2025 Tata Punch facelift:
- Digital instrument cluster (top variants)
-
Touch-based climate controls
-
Connected car tech (iRA)
-
New steering wheel design (inspired by Nexon)
-
Enhanced seat upholstery
-
Rear AC vents (expected)
-
6 airbags (on top trims)
-
Updated exterior styling
Tata Punch facelift: Expected Price
The Tata Punch facelift is expected to debut around late 2024 or early 2025, just in time to cash in on the festive season. With the new features and cabin upgrades, pricing is expected to see a slight hike.
The current Punch is priced between ₹6 lakh to ₹10.10 lakh (ex-showroom), and the facelift could start from ₹6.5 lakh, going up to ₹11 lakh (ex-showroom) for the top-spec variant.
