The sales of electric car has been increased in India and that is why many car company is working on new model and launching their new car in India.
This year Tata Motors to Mahindra & Mahindra have expanded their electric vehicle portfolio. Also, some foreign companies have also tried to attract Indian buyers by launching their electric cars.
Now, 2024 is about to end and we have bought you the list of cars that has been launched in 2024.
1: Tata Punch EV
Tata Punch EV has slim LED headlights, a closed grille, new alloy wheels, connected LED taillights and connected LED DRLs at the front. It is built on the companyβs Generation-2 pure EV platform ACTI-EV. It has the option of 2 battery packs. It has the option of first 25 kWh and second 35 kWh battery pack, which are capable of giving a range of 315 kilometers per charge and 421 kilometers per charge respectively.
It also feature a large 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, digital instrument cluster, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and automatic climate control. Features like 6 airbags, traction control, hill assist and ESC have been provided in this vehicle.
This EV has been launched at a starting price of Rs 10.99 lakh and price of its long range model is Rs 14.49 lakh.
2: Tata Curvv EV
The coupe-SUV Tata Curve EV was launched on August 7 this year, which features LED light bars, stacked LED headlamps and new 18-inch alloy wheels and LED taillights.
The cabin gets a 12.3-inch touchscreen, 10.25-inch digital driver display, automatic climate control, panoramic sunroof and JBL sound system.
The Curve EV is available in 2 battery pack options β 45kWh and 55kWh, offering a range of 430 and 502 km respectively. Its price is between Rs 17.50-22 lakh.
3: Mahindra BE 6e
Mahindra BE 6e is based on companyβs INGLO platform. This coupe SUV will be equipped with jewel-like headlights, LED lighting setup, 20-inch alloy wheel. All new Mahindra BE 6e has attractive cabin with 5 seating sitting arrangement. It has a features like multi zone climate control, wireless phone charging, multi zone climate control.
It has two battery option 59kWh and 79kWh. The certified range of 79kWh battery pack is 550 km. It has a powerful electric motor. It has been launched in India at starting price of 18.9 lakh
4: Mahindra XEV 9e
In terms of design this car is available in coupe design with muscular bonnet and closed grille. Apart from this it has all LED lighting setup with LED Day Time Running lights. Mahindra XEV 9e also feature LED light bar on its front facia.
Mahindra XEV 9e has been equipped with 59kWh battery pack which is connected with the powerful electric motor. This setup generates maximum power of 228bhp and peak torque of 380Nm. This car can cover total distance of 656km in full charge. Β Company has launched its 9e electric coupe at starting price of 21.9 lakh ex-showroom.
5: 2024 Mahindra XUV400
Mahindra XUV400 is built on Electric Scalable and Modular Architecture (MESMA) platform. Its front air dam is covered with X design elements and the companyβs new logo is given in the middle.
XUV400 is offered with a 39.5 kW battery pack option. This setup is capable of generating power of 150 bhp and peak torque of 310 Nm. This SUV has the capability of giving a range of 456 kilometers in a single charge.
The price of Mahindra XUV400 ranges between Rs 15.99 lakh to Rs 19.39 lakh.
6: BYD Seal
The BYD Seal EV Dynamic variant is equipped with a 61.44kWh battery, which provides a range of 510 kilometers. Additionally, the Premium variant and the Performance variant are equipped with an 82.56kWh battery, capable of providing ranges of approximately 650 kilometers and 580 kilometers, respectively.
This car achieves speeds of nearly 0-100 kilometers per hour in under 6 seconds, while the Performance variant takes just 3.8 seconds. In the Indian market, the starting price of this car is 41 lakh rupees (ex-showroom).
7: BYD eMax 7
BYD introduced the eMax 7 in October this year in 6 and 7-seater layout options, which get slim LED headlights with a dragon face.
The cabin comes with features like a 12.8-inch swivel infotainment system, ventilated front seats, 6 airbags, 360-degree camera and level-2 ADAS.
It is offered with 2 battery pack options β 55.4kWh and 71.8kWh, which offer a range of 420 and 530 kilometers respectively. Its price is between Rs 26.90-29.90 lakh.
8: MG Windsor EV
MG Windsor EV has attractive design. It has wheelbase of 2700 mm. The car has been equipped with all LED lighting setup, LED headlamps, LED-tail-lamp and Day Time Running Lights.
This EV has been equipped with 38kWh battery pack with is paired with single electric motor. This setup generates maximum power of 134bhp and peak torque of 200Nm. This car has four driving modes namely Eco, Eco+, Normal and Sports. The ARAI certified range of the car is 332km.
