What are the safety features of the Toyota Innova Hycross?

The Hycross has been built on the Toyota’s TNGA-C modular platform, known for its structural rigidity and crash energy absorption.

Its key safety features contributing to its top-tier rating include Front airbags, belt pre-tensioners, and load-limiters for driver and front passenger, Curtain airbags covering all three rows, Chest and pelvis airbags for front occupants, ISOFIX child seat mounts at rear outboard seats, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Pedestrian protection systems compliant with AIS-100, and Seatbelt reminders for all three rows.

However, the absence of rear seatbelt aids, knee airbags, and ISOFIX mounts at the front are areas where the MPV could improve.

With its robust build and comprehensive safety suite, the Innova Hycross is now one of the safest MPVs on Indian roads. This achievement is expected to further enhance its appeal among families, fleet operators, and safety-conscious buyers.

Toyota’s 5-star Bharat NCAP rating for the Innova Hycross is a testament to the brand’s commitment to safety and innovation. As India’s automotive market matures, such milestones are crucial in pushing the industry toward global safety standards.
